I totally agree with what you’re saying, it’s not a trend but a revolution. Writing was convenient but unnatural (we have been massively reading as humans for no more than 100/150 years only, while we’ve been talking for ever). There is also an interesting study from the university of Indiana (don’t quote me on that but i think it was from that university), saying that we remember as efficiently a piece of information when we listen than when we read!
